Krauss Photoshop is a place I cannot go to, but I can recreate it through form. After visiting in August 2024, I fell in love with the vintage photo store that is no longer operating. Now being turned into a coffee shop, parts of Port Jervis’s history will be gone forever. Although I am not related to the original owner, Gus Krauss, I feel deeply connected to this place. I want to interact with this space but was told I am not allowed to. I must recreate the structure to fulfill this need.
